Today it's jumping frogs, ziplines, gold mines, Calaveras Big Trees State Park, winter sports ... Calaveras County is a fascinating place to visit and offers an unparalleled quality of life for those who live there!

My first date with my DH was a charming drive through the beautiful Gold Country foothills (in a convertable), culminating with our first visit to the Historic town of Columbia in Calaveras County. How romantic is that!
