Mendocino County - just a couple of hours north of the Bay Area and San Francisco lies Mendocino County, an oasis of green vineyards and beautiful beaches.

Redwood National and State Parks - Northern California is home to

Sonoma - another stunning wine producing county in Northern California, Sonoma is home to more than 300 wineries as well as offering coastal attractions at Bodega Bay such as surfing and kayaking. History buffs may enjoy a visit to Fort Ross State Historic Park with its reconstructed stockade.
