Anyone who's driven from the Central Valley to the coast & vice versa knows what dull & tiresome trek it can be. It can, most times, be pleasant distraction to pull over, stretch the legs, and maybe grab a snack. Casa de Fruta is conveniently available for this. It offers shade & easy hiway entry/exit, both of which are lacking at the nearby San Luis Reservoir.

Casa De Fruta has something for everyone in my family! Wine tasting (Casa de Wine), train rides (Casa de Choo-choo) and carousel, fruit stand, candy store (Casa de Sweets) and much more. It's a great place to play, and has the BEST pomegranate wine ever!
