Hmmmm - I seem to be a bit shy of 101. But, only JUST! (winking!)Anyway, if I included all the Chico Performances that are brought to town by Chico State (like Joan Baez, Mikhail gorbachev, the San Francisco Symphony), and all the performing arts projects that are produced by Chico Theater Company and the Blue Room (amongst others), and the musical venues hosted by Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and the Senator Theater, et al - I'm sure there would be AT LEAST 101 events in Chico!
But these are the really MAJOR Chico Events that you'll want to know about. So take a look at each one, and plan your trip to Chico according to what YOU'RE most interested in! Snow Goose Festival Not only snow geese! You'll find more varieties of waterfowl than you ever imagined! Home and Garden Show The Soroptomist Home, Garden & Antique Show - one of Chico's best-attended events! Chico Kite Day Have you ever wanted to Go Fly a Kite? Here's your chance! National Yo-Yo Contest You will be amazed at the advancements that have been made in that little toy, the yo-yo!
