Gary Danko's - one of our favorite restaurants!

I agree with the posting....Gary Danko's is one of our favorite restaurants that we have ever visited, and definitely our favorite upscale type restaurant in San Francisco. Every dish was uniquely and perfectly prepared. We had the opportunity to sit in a private room - I highly recommend the private room if you have a party of six or more. Overall great service and we especially loved the cheese course. The servers are very knowledgable about all of the dishes, wines, and cheeses. What a night to remember!!

Burma Super Star---Five Stars!

Burma Super Star is a great restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious and very unique. The combination of flavorings from the many different regional influences makes for an interesting and scrumptious meal.

Our waitress was gracious and helpful. This was our first time and she answered all of our questions and made excellent recommendations. While the restaurant filled up fast, we never felt rushed and were encouraged to enjoy every bite.

We went at 5:00 p.m. on a Friday and we were about 4th in line, but within 10 mins. there was a line wrapped around the building. This is a plus--it tells you how great the food is!

Since I've enjoyed the food and ambiance of many of them while in your company, I can attest to the quality of your recommendations! :-)

An Aside To My Readers:

In the interest of full disclosure, I would like to add that Margaret is my DDIL (Darling Daughter-in-Law), Wife of my #1 Son (by birth order, not favoritism!), and Mother of my three adorable Grandkidlettes!

We have enjoyed many a San Francisco dinner together! :-)
