SOROPTOMIST HOME, GARDEN, & ANTIQUE SHOW

Popularly referred to around Chico simply as the Home and Garden Show, the official name is the Soroptomist Home, Garden, & Antique Show.

THIS IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHICO EVENT

Country Antique Booth

The Home and Garden Show is presented each year in mid-March by the Chico chapter of Soroptomist International and is their main fundraiser - and it's huge!

You'll find over 300 exhibitors and vendors at the show and, while it's easy to get carried away with all the cool stuff for home and yard, don't forget the Antique portion of the name!

There are thousands of square feet devoted to antique booths with a wide range of "Items With A History."

But you'll also find a Classic Cars and Hot Rod Expo with some really well-preserved antique cars!

The Home and Garden Show is a favorite, well-attended event in Chico, so come for the weekend - it's a two-day event!

And it'll take you two days to see it all! Here's just a sample of what you'll find:

Home and Garden Landscaping

Landscaping Items and Ideas - Many of the vendors carry products from local companies, artists, and crafters

Home Decorating and Out-Door Living Inspiration - Ideas and products to help you enhance the comfort, durability, and decor of your home, inside and out

Chef Demonstration

It's All About Local Food - If you Like to eat (and who doesn't?) you'll enjoy the food samples from local producers and the local chef demonstrations that are held throughout the weekend

Kidz Corner - In addition to face painting, bouncy castles, and games, the Kidz can enjoy martial arts, Irish dancing, a theater skit and more

Fine Art Sale and Wine Tent - A great combination: fine art and wine! You can buy or just browse among the art glass, water colors, ceramics, and pastels as you listen to the live music provided, and enjoy a little wine tasting

The Market Place - Browse and shop the booths selling crafts, candles, personal care products, gift items, jewelry and more
