My Lodi

by Jennifer
(Proud Lodi-ite)

The Lodi Arch

The Lodi Arch

I live in Lodi, CA and am a little disappointed you don't have anything about Lodi on your website. :(

So I'm here to fix that. :)

Lodi was first made "famous" by the Creedence Clearwater song "Stuck in Lodi Again". No very flattering to Lodi-ites! To be fair, when the song was written it was true enough maybe, but things have changed.

Now Lodi is called the "hottest new wine region" in California. Visit Lodi's many wineries and you'll find out why. Did you know Robert Mondavi (Woodbridge Winery) grew up in Lodi?.

Lodi has wineries, museums, a historical downtown with murals like you've mentioned in Chico, Lodi Lake & the Mokelumne River, antique & specialty shops, fine dining, nearby nature areas - you name it, Lodi's got it!

So please don't overlook my Lodi; it deserves a place of its own if you're going to talk about Northern California!
