SAN FRANCISCO ATTRACTIONS

YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS A SINGLE ONE
OF THESE SAN FRANCISCO ATTRACTIONS

There's so much to see and do in San Francisco - and a surprising number of them can be enjoyed for free - but these are the things that should be on your "Must See" list because they are so uniquely "San Francisco"!

FAMOUS SAN FRANCISCO TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

Golden Gate Bridge

Probably the most iconic of San Francisco attractions is the Golden Gate Bridge! Towering 746 feet tall, 220 feet above the water, and spanning 1.7 miles across the Golden Gate Strait, the GGB is San Francisco's most recognizable symbol.

Another favorite symbol of The City is San Francisco's Cable Cars. Riding the Cable Cars is something every visitor to San Francisco wants to do - even if you've done it before, you can't help but want to hop on board just one more nostalgic time!

And, of course, there's Alcatraz Island! We're always fascinated by the "Bad Boys" aren't we? But there's more to Alcatraz than just the old Federal penetentiary.

You'll find San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf to be great fun! Lots of lively activity, history, the fishing fleet, shopping, good food, street performers & street vendors . . . you'll never be bored at Fisherman's Wharf!

Chinatown Market

San Francisco's Chinatown has a dual personality. There's the touristy Chinatown; then there's the Chinese community that lives, shops, and works in Chinatown. And you can visit both!

Commissioned by Lillie Hancock Coit, San Francisco's Coit Tower stands tall and overlooks the Bay. Take a City Guides tour (they're free) up to the top!

If you're a shopper, I'm sure you've heard of San Francisco's Union Square.

But what about Union Street? It's not as well known as Union Square, but it's an adorable shopping area in the Cow Hollow section of The City with boutiques, and spas, and eateries!
