My DH & I just love to go on road trips! It doesn't matter whether it's for a couple of hours, a whole day, a weekend, or 2 or 3 weeks - every time we get in the car it's an adventure!

When I started sharing some of my favorite day trips with you (Big Sur Day Trips, Chico Day Trips, Sonoma Day Trips), DH said, "Hey, don't forget about all those great weekend trips we've taken!"

How can I disappoint him when he puts it like that? So, here you have it - some of our favorite weekend trips:

NorCal is Taking Flight. During the wintertime, Northern California becomes one of North America's most important winter resting stops for migratory waterfowl . Add fine dining & wine tasting, and you're in for a weekend treat!

Wintertime Fun in the High Sierras. Enjoy sleigh rides & snowball fights, visit lively mountain towns & world renowned ski resorts, and drink in the beauty of the High Sierras wrapped in a winter coat of white.

Another High Sierra Wintertime Trip. From Yosemite's Badger Pass to Mammoth Mountain, to the Cedar House Sport Hotel in Truckee - enjoy winter sports & cozying up to après ski fireplaces.

Magical Winter in the Shasta Cascades. Mt. Shasta's snow-covered slopes, a star-bright night in Dunsmuir, breath-taking views of Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen, & Castle Crags, & Mt. Lassen's snow-cloaked hot springs & mud pots.
