YOSEMITE LODGE AT THE FALLS IS YOUR PERFECT CHOICE!

When friends ask for my advice about visiting Yosemite National Park, the first thing I suggest is that they plan to stay inside the park so they won't miss adventures like Ranger Evening Programs, and Full Moon Snowshoe Treks. I offer the same advice to you!

There's absolutely no reason you can't take the family to either The Ahwahnee or Wawona hotels, and it's a wonderful experience for children if you do.

But a lot of us prefer something a little bit more casual when the kidlettes are young.

That's why the Lodge is such a wonderful option! Not only is it casual and family-friendly, but it's also the hub of the wheel for lodging in the park.

Located in the center of the Valley floor, Yosemite Lodge is the closest lodging to Yosemite Falls, and it's within walking distance of Yosemite Village, Mirror Lake, Happy Isles, and much, much more!

Whether you're a camper or no, there are many options for a Yosemite sleepover. The valley campgrounds are open year-round, as are Curry Village and Yosemite Housekeeping Camp. Or you can choose one of Yosemite's luxury hotels.

But, if you want to be central to all the activity without having to camp - and pay less for your housing at the same time - Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is the choice for you. Just use the box at the right for a quick and easy way to make reservations:

The Lodge is modern but rustic, redesigned in 1998 to emphasize glass and wood detailing so it blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed, each with its own private bath.

If you're bringing the kidlettes, try one of the Family Rooms with a king bed, two single beds, a queen-sized sofa sleeper, dining table, and larger TV with DVD player.
