Yosemite lodging - that which includes a building or some sort of structure for your nighttime protection - can be divided into four categories.

  • Top o' the list are Yosemite's Hotels with comfortable beds, fine dining, even tea and cookies in the afternoon - like the majestic Ahwahnee and the historic Wawona.

  • Next is the Lodge that's comfortable and easy while being front and center to all of the Yosemite valley floor excitement - Yosemite Lodge at the Falls.

  • If you want something a little closer to nature but still comfortable and easy, try the Yosemite Cabins & Tent Cabins at Curry Village.

  • Are you visiting Yosemite in the summer and wanting to get away from the madding crowds? Here's a little insider secret: head for the High Country Lodges - Tuolumne Meadows Lodge and White Wolf Lodge. Check it out - I've got a real surprise choice for you in the High Country!

Whichever of these options appeals to you, I guarantee you'll have a wonderful experience staying inside Yosemite National Park!

Each of your Yosemite National Park lodging choice here has its own charm, so we'll explore them all and you can decide which is right for you!

Whether you choose the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite valley, or the Wawona Hotel higher up, you won't be disappointed.

You'll find several levels of comfort from which to choose when you're wanting to stay a little closer to nature, but still want an easy visit.
